How this software is written

Every NeatCode Labs application is written with AI assistance under human supervision. The person supervising is not a professional programmer. Releases are reviewed and tested, but that is testing — not a formal audit, and not a security review by a qualified third party.

We say this on its own page rather than in a footnote because it should change how you evaluate the software: not "trust us", but "read it, it is right there".

Treat it as experimental

Which in practice means:

• There may be bugs, including ones nobody has hit yet.
• A feature may not behave exactly as described.
• Edge cases may be untested.
• Performance and stability are not guaranteed on every device or desktop.

Do not use any of it for anything mission-critical or life-critical. Keep your own backups. Try a new version somewhere it cannot hurt before you rely on it.

Free, and open to inspection

• Free — no cost, no hidden fees, no premium tier held back.
• Open source — the full source of every project is on GitHub.
• GPL-3.0-or-later or MIT, depending on the project — each repository states which, and ships the full licence text.
• Anyone can read, audit, fork or improve any of it.

This is the part that makes the paragraph above survivable. You do not have to take a privacy claim on faith when the code that would have to break it is public.

No warranty

Both licences in use here disclaim warranty in their own text, and that text governs. Restated plainly:

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

To the extent the law allows, that covers direct, indirect, incidental, special and consequential damages alike — lost profits, lost or corrupted data, crashes, or a security problem arising from a defect.

Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

Not financial advice

TabGreater displays market data. It is a viewer: it executes no trades, holds no exchange API keys, and gives no advice, signals or predictions. Prices shown may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Nothing in the app or on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

What we do commit to

• Fixing reported problems as best we can, in public.
• Being honest about how this software is made — hence this page.
• Keeping the source open so the claims can be checked.
• Listening when someone tells us something is wrong.

Using it means accepting this

Downloading, installing or running any NeatCode Labs application means you have read this page and accept it. If you do not, please do not use the software — no hard feelings, and the source is still there to read.
